The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and Right Management Consultants have honored Alcan Packaging Food Americas with its 2007 Right Workplace Award.
The Right Workplace Award recognizes companies whose people practices have created workplace excellence and have impacted successful business results. Food Americas’ winning effort was a result of the company's strategic human resources planning and programs.
In identifying Alcan Packaging as a 2007 award recipient, the judging committee made note of Food Americas’ efforts with regard to recruitment, sustainability, community and continuous improvement, among other policies and procedures.
