| An effective overall range effect!
The new jars of Yves Rocher, Inositol Végétal skincare range are realized at Alcan Packaging Beauty, (Plouhinec site). Both jars look alike and differentiate themselves by their colors: green for day care, blue for night care.
The jars’ cap is composed of three parts: an external SAN lid, a PP screw cap and a seal. A SAN ring is fastened to the jar base by ultrasonic welding; Then, the 40ml internal tank is joined onto the base.
The external base and lid are molded together in a 8+8-cavity mould on a 450t press. All operations - assembly, decoration and seal fastening - are done in line. A depalettizer is used to gain time and productivity. This project shows the common desire of Yves Rocher and Alcan Packaging Plouhinec to optimize the process to meet customers’ needs in term of cost, lead-time and quality.
Yves Rocher also differentiated its range through highly original plant-based graphics on the 4 Inositol Végétal plastic tubes, which highlight Alcan Packaging Beauty’s expertise. Moreover, the scope of Alcan Packaging Beauty’s tubes range, with a wide array of application heads and caps, allowed the client to choose just the right head for every bulk.
